About the role
You’ll join as a Mid-weight UX/UI Designer working directly with startup founders and their teams. Your mission: Deliver high-quality UX/UI solutions fast, manage your own projects, and continuously improve design outcomes. You’ll be responsible for:
- Researching, strategising and executing complex UX/UI and marketing design tasks
- Managing 2+ startup clients at once
- Completing 6+ high-quality deliverables weekly
- Ensuring 100% client retention and satisfaction
- Communicating clearly and proactively with clients and teammates
- Owning each stage of work: from research to delivery to iteration
What we expect of you
You’ll thrive here if you:
- Have 2+ years of experience in an agency, or freelance role with multiple live clients and projects
- Can work European time zone hours (10am–4pm UK core hours)
- Are a high-performance individual who loves balancing precision with speed
- Are fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Take full ownership of your work and are proactive about solving challenges
- Value growth, clear communication, and continuous improvement
- Care about creating a positive impact through your work
- Are highly proficient with:
- Figma (including auto-layout, variables, and design systems)
- Adobe CC (Illustrator and Photoshop essential; InDesign/After Effects a plus)
- Notion/ClickUp (for task/project management)
- Slack (for communication)
- ChatGPT, Midjourney and AI tools (basic usage for productivity - advanced usage is a big plus!)
